COLLABORATION IS KEY TO SUCCESSFUL MISSIONS

Ιn order to achieve the innovating pedagogical and technological objectives of DiSTARS, a  consortium of 6 participants across Europe has been established. It represents a great partnership for the adaptation, development, application and exploitation of the project’s pioneering technological and pedagogical approach and outcomes.

The consortium’s expertise can be divided in three main categories:

  • Educational Research and Design
  • Creative Industries, Digital Publishing, 3D/AR Interface and Platform Development
  • Implementation of educational activities and Coordination of pilot runs at a National level.

NUCLIO is the coordinator of one of the largest astronomy education efforts in the world, the Galileo Teacher Training Program.

ÖSTERREICHISCHES WETRAUM FORUM (Austrian Space Forum) is a research organization in the field of space exploration with a focus on human-robotic Mars missions since 1998. Over the past decade it has evolved into a research institution with a focus on astronautics and space research. With the experience of two Mission programs, PolAres (2007-2017) and AMADEE (2018-2028), it has significantly contributed to the field of lunar and Mars analog research.
