On 22 June 2022, we held a multiplier event at the University of Bayreuth. At this event, 26 participants got to know DiSTARS and trained their storytelling skills for the classroom. The event included the presentation of the DiSTARS project and a demonstration of the storytelling platform. Of particular interest to the participants were the opportunity to have students work independently but always well guided and the individual digital communication between the tutor and the student group.
As storytelling and project-based teaching is not standard teaching design, the participants took the opportunity to rethink their teaching to design stories and projects. The opportunity to work on cross-curricular yet efficient material was experienced as particularly enriching.
